MIRAMAX FILMS

My time at Miramax Films was split between offices in LA and Austin in a Special Publicity Role. For six months of the year, in Los Angeles, I worked on the studio's theatrical releases and Academy Awards campaigns for films such as CHICAGO, AMÉLIE and GANGS OF NEW YORK.  For the other six months of the year, I re-located to Austin where I worked on set for acclaimed filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, at his TroubleMaker Studios, on films such as ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO, the SPY KIDS Franchise and SIN CITY.  In this special role, I was afforded the unique opportunity to work on each movie from its earliest stages of development, to being on set during filming and interviewing all of the cast and crew for EPK assets, then ultimately spearheading the publicity campaigns for their releases.
