As a longtime studio publicist who fell into producing film and television, I now work at the intersection of entertainment, sports and philanthropy, developing high-end content and multi- faceted campaigns to help global brands and individual influencers make an impact across numerous industries simultaneously. As a Strategist, I’m able to use all of my skillsets at once to help shift culture through creative storytelling. As the Strategy + Commuications Officer for Harness, an organization founded by America Ferrera, Ryan Piers Williams, and Wilmer Valderrama, I helped produced marquee social impact events, led strategic publicity efforts, and managed corporate collaborations and influencer engagement. For Women Rising, I produced films and social impact campaigns in addition to leading talent, press and partnership efforts. As Head of Talent and Global Partnerships for PTTOW!, a private invitation-only CEO organization, I recruited and managed new celebrity engagement and elevated philanthropic connections for the company. Highlights include Bad Robot / Good Robot, XPRIZE, Google, United State of Women and others.
With 20 years of expertise in the entertainment industry focusing on PR and talent relations, I create regional, national and worldwide publicity campaigns for tentpole releases, prestige films, awards contenders, independent features and individuals clients. My wide breadth of experience includes studio publicity, unit publicity, corporate communications and personal publicity. I spent over a decade as in-house PR for powerhouses Miramax Films and Paramount Pictures, working on over 75+ films, and Creative Artists Agency, where I helped facilitate private events for Bono’s (RED), Former Vice President Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” and then Senator Barack Obama. Having developed deep relationships, I have often returned as a consultant while adding on clients including: Google, Bad Robot, South by Southwest (SXSW), TEDx, J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath Family Foundation, ATX TV Festival, SAG Awards, the Nelms Brothers and Folly Films.
From the Award-Winning Documentary "A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story" to the Historic Paramount Pictures 100th Anniversary Celebration to “Everyone is Doing Great” and “Power On,” I produce feature films, marquee events, television shows and short form content. Starting at the earliest stages of conception all the way though to distribution, I oversee creative development, production logistics, post-production efforts and strategic alliances to ensure the most successful release. In addition to the film, I produced the "I'm with Lizzie: Influencers Against Bullying" Social Impact Campaign and I was an Associate Producer for #ProtectHer, a docu-series about sexual assault prevention amongst athletes, all in collaboration with Women Rising. Previously, I served as Head of Film + TV Development and Producing Partner for ORIT Entertainment, a production company founded by Academy Award® Winner Octavia Spencer. I am a Co-Producer on the independent TV series, “Everyone is Doing Great” created by actors James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti, which is currently in post-production of Season 1. Most recently, I produced "Power On" an anthology of five cinematic short films helmed by first time directors Julie Bowen, Nikki Reed, Rosario Dawson, Ana Brenda Contreras and Lisa Edelstein to inspire girls in STEAM fields. The series premiered on YouTube on April 26, 2019.
