As a Strategist, I work at the crossroads of entertainment, sports and philanthropy, developing successful campaigns for global corporations as well as individual influencers who strive to incorporate social impact into their businesses. As the Strategy + Commuications Officer for Harness an organization founded by America Ferrera, Ryan Piers Williams, and Wilmer Valderrama, I helped produced marquee events, managed strategic publicity efforts, and oversaw influencer relationships with NBC, Universal, Twitter, Cosmopolitan and Award-Winning Artist Katy Perry. For "Taste of Tennis" in New York and Australia, I managed PR and talent relations for the annual culinary fundraiser pairing professional athletes with world renowned chefs. As Head of Talent and Global Partnerships for PTTOW!, a private invitation-only CEO organization, I recruited and managed celebrity influencers and elevated philanthropic connections for the company. Additional clients have included Bad Robot / Good Robot, XPRIZE, Google and others.
With nearly 20 years of expertise in the entertainment industry focusing on PR and talent relations, I create strategic publicity campaigns for tentpole releases, prestige films, awards contenders, independent features, and individuals. My varied crossover experience includes studio publicity, unit publicity, corporate communications, and personal publicity. Clients have included: Paramount Pictures, TEDx, Google, Bad Robot, J.J. Abrams and Katie McGrath Family Foundation, Creative Artists Agency, SAG Awards, the Nelms Brothers and Folly Films.
From the Award-Winning Documentary "A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story" to the Historic Paramount Pictures 100th Anniversary Celebration, I produce feature films, short form content and marquee events. Starting at the earliest stages of conception all the way though to distribution and release, I oversee creative direction, production logistics, and awareness strategies with a focus on celebrity influencer engagement. Additional projects include the "I'm with Lizzie: Influencers Against Bullying" Campaign, #ProtectHer, a docu-series about sexual assault prevention amongst athletes, and Harness Marquee Events. Currently, I am the Producer for Google's "Girls in Tech" Cinematic Film Series, which showcases directors Nikki Reed, Rosario Dawson, and Ana Brenda Contreras among others and I am a Co-Producer on the TV series, “Everyone is Doing Great” created by actors James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti. Additionally, I serve as Head of Development for ORIT Entertainment, a production company founded by Academy Award® Winner Octavia Spencer.
